Varicose veins

Varicosis is the name of a chronic disease of the circulatory system (which develops for decades!) and is characterized by degenerative changes in the veins. They become excessively voluminous, pathologically stretched and expanded. Their lumen is so enlarged that blood stagnates instead of rushing to the heart.

• heaviness and pain in the legs and a feeling of “bursting”.
