Varicose veins
Variosis is the name of a chronic disease of the circulatory system (which develops for decades!) and is characterized by degenerative changes in the veins. They become excessively voluminous, pathologically stretched and expanded. Their lumen is so enlarged that blood stagnates instead of rushing to the heart.
As a result the nutrition of nearby tissues is seriously disrupted and persistent edema and trophic ulcers appear. In critical cases the skin and muscles surrounding diseased veins are destroyed.
According to general medical statistics about 89% of women and about 66% of men suffer from varicose veins. Pathology even occurs in people of school age.
The main cause of varicose veins is the weakening of the venous valves. This condition causes a cessation or a critical slowdown in blood flow. However, the factors which cause irreversible weakening of the valves of the veins remain unknown to science. Phlebologists put forward the five most realistic versions explaining the development of abnormal vein expansion:
- congenital insufficiency of the venous valve with reflux;
- structural weakness of the venous walls;
- hormonal background (negative effect of estrogen);
- chronic venous insufficiency;
- venous hypertension (high blood pressure).
Most often, varicose veins affect the lower extremities: the legs. The disease manifests itself in four ways:
- the appearance of nodular formations protruding from under the skin;
- the veins become very noticeable, they take on a tortuous appearance;
- cyanotic color of the skin;
- heaviness and pain in the legs and a feeling of “bursting”.
But all of the above can be avoided if, with the appearance of early symptoms, you immediately start taking biologically active substances which effectively restore weakened vascular walls. Our dietary supplements really heal the veins and even allow you to avoid surgery!
